My approach to marriage, couples, and family counseling is solution-oriented. Highly trained and experienced, I give clients strategies, tools, and techniques to find the solutions that make a positive difference in their relationships.

I also provide couples counseling for alternative and traditional relationships. I use an approach to counseling that leans heavily on Imago therapy, where you will learn how to communicate more effectively with your partner so that needs and desires are heard.

With couples, I show each partner how first to control their emotional reactions (anger & hurt) and how to negotiate for what they want. This enables each individual to respond more effectively to their partner and increases the chances of problem resolution.

I am a certified Imago Relationship Therapist. I help partners learn how to communicate in a healthy way, feel safe and to not take their partner's behavior personally. In a very short time I can provide the tools you and your partner need to work together as a team.
