Couples, families and other relationships require a neutral and empathic professional who can hone in on what needs to be done to get everybody on the same page.

With couples, I show each partner how first to control their emotional reactions (anger & hurt) and how to negotiate for what they want. This enables each individual to respond more effectively to their partner and increases the chances of problem resolution.

I have developed a unique approach to couples counseling that has proven to be effective in increasing communication.

I work with couples around many issues, including sexual issues. I help couples see the cycles they get into with each other and understand how they are triggered to be reactive. A few of the issues I work with are communication, infidelity, & sexual desire discrepancy.
