I have worked for Employee Assistance Programs for 20 years. I have met with many people who were having trouble in their careers or at their jobsite. Troubles can be personality problems, pay problems, job satisfaction, outsourcing, company takeovers, and harassment. In some cases, we need to figure out how to help you stay in your work situation because of things like finances, impossibility of job change, and inability to move. In other situations, we need to figure out how to most effectively help you move into your next career path, whether that is from a current position or unemployment.
