I hold a Master of Divinity with a major in counselling from Tyndale University, College and Seminary. My faith is an important part of my life and guides my decisions. I would never push religion on any of my clients as I respect everyone's right to choose their beliefs. However, I welcome conversations from clients who would like to incorporate Biblical principles, scripture or prayer into their sessions.

Being reminded that having a strong and resilient faith can be a very supportive and powerful intervention. The ultimate goals of therapy will be to identify behaviors that are inconsistent with having a strong faith in God, so you can become more accepting of God’s plan for you. I believe there is purpose in your pain. God gives you only what you can handle. With support I will help you learn how to accept what you have been given and figure out what are you going to do? I do not practice or hold to this religion any longer. In my clinical work, I work with clients who are processing spiritual abuse/trauma and I regularly work with clients who are navigating deconstruction. I believe it is important to clarify, I am affirming and fully accepting of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I consider myself an ally to this community. In my clinical work, I consider it an honour to work with members of this community who have been wounded by the Christian Church.
