Hope Centered Counselling is non-judgmental and wants to be your support system that creates a safe space for you to explore your experience.

In Christian counselling, I provide a space where clients can integrate their faith with psychological healing in a way that feels respectful and authentic to their beliefs. Spirituality may be explored as a source of meaning, strength, and guidance, while also addressing emotional and relational concerns. Clients are supported in making sense of challenges through both a therapeutic and faith-informed lens. Many benefit from increased spiritual clarity, emotional healing, and a deeper sense of alignment between faith and lived experience.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that. If one honors God's natural laws of reaping and sowing around the decisions one makes, one is indeed living Scripture to its fullest. I hold a Master of Divinity with a major in counselling from Tyndale University, College and Seminary. My faith is an important part of my life and guides my decisions. I would never push religion on any of my clients as I respect everyone's right to choose their beliefs. However, I welcome conversations from clients who would like to incorporate Biblical principles, scripture or prayer into their sessions.

As a Christian, I greatly appreciate how faith and spirituality play a role in our daily lives. Yet God still calls us to be in the world and to experience many different aspects of human life, even things we think God could fix. Making sense of the differences between what we believe God wants and what we face daily can be distressing and lead to despair and depression. Talking about these losses with someone with a similar faith can be vital as we navigate these challenges.
