Our Christian faith is a tremendous resource that we have access to everywhere we are. We are spiritual beings, and faith is an important part of identity-what you believe, how you think, and feel, as well as how you behave. As a Christian, I greatly appreciate how faith and spirituality play a role in our daily lives. Yet God still calls us to be in the world and to experience many different aspects of human life, even things we think God could fix. Making sense of the differences between what we believe God wants and what we face daily can be distressing and lead to despair and depression. Talking about these losses with someone with a similar faith can be vital as we navigate these challenges.
