Here at New Creations Counseling Center clients will benefit by learning to control their anger with the power of God. Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit and clients will learn how to grow closer to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ and develop a more mature spiritual life. (Galatians 5:22-23). Clients will learn how to submit their will and lives over to the care of Christ and will ultimately find a way to manage their anger.

You let most things go. Little frustrations throughout the day, an insulting comment, an inconsiderate gesture. You chose to avoid conflict, if possible, but every so often, you boil over and say or do something that you regret. In my experience those with difficulties controlling their anger aren't actually angrier than the average person, they just have a hard time communicating or picking their battles. I've helped many people break this cycle of conflict avoidance leading to the inevitable blow up. Together we will find a better way.

I incorporate mind-body awareness and practical strategies to help regulate the nervous system and respond more thoughtfully in difficult moments. As clients build these skills, they often experience improved self-control, clearer communication, and healthier, more balanced relationships.
