I find that there are many factors that contribute to a person's depression. There is an often entangled interplay of unmet physical & medical needs mixed in with the mental and emotional suffering/numbness that comes with this. I believe that depression can be managed and learned from. Medication may be necessary for some, but many of my clients choose not to use this tool in their journey. I have collaborated with health care professionals in the care of clients to help in this overwhelming process of finding any related medical issues contributing to the depression.
