In Career Counseling, clients will benefit from my comprehensive and client-centered approach that aims to help individuals find not just a job but a fulfilling and meaningful career path. I begin by conducting assessments to understand a client's personality, skills, values, and goals. From there, I work collaboratively to explore various career options, offering guidance and resources for informed decision-making. Whether it's career change, advancement, or reevaluation of current goals, I provide support in developing a strategic plan, enhancing job search skills, and overcoming career-related challenges.

My approach to helping individuals with their careers would encompass the exploration of personality and the vocational career that the client is pursuing or currently has conflict in. My own career experience working at NASA for 19 years can help to provide a very professional and structured perspective into work \ life balance within families.

I have 3 years experience working with adults of all ages in a college counseling center. Career issues was often something discussed. It may be that someone is unsure of what to major in, or be mid-life and wanting a career change. Together we will explore the past jobs you have had, your likes and dislikes about the past jobs, your values, interests and goals. Some career testing may also be conducted to help determine your areas of interest. We will also work on decreasing any distress that you may be experiencing through this porcess.

While most career counselors love to give you capacity based profiles of what your talents and interests are for your best bet career choices, Grey Matters international believes that most people make predictably irrational decisions and then after making them learn way to make them fit into their identities using various types of rationalizations and strategies.
