I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

Our therapists have been trained psychologically and theologically in order to work within the biblical Christian worldview that is shared by over 80% of Texans. While we are distinctively Christian in our approach, we do not push any particular religious agenda, but work within the client's Christian belief system to help answer life's difficult questions such as: "Who am I?", "What's my purpose?", "Why does God let bad things happen?", "Is there any hope?", and "What meaning is there to my life?". I was raised in a Christian household myself so I have an appreciation for the values instilled by religion, the importance of tradition, and the strength of community. My approach to counseling is humanistic and welcoming of all spiritualities. Our deepest wounds are often those that are at the hands of another person. Human brokenness is the root of our need for redemption. This holds true in therapy and growth work as well. I follow the promptings of Holy Spirit in which direction I take with each client for each session. I help people connect with Jesus in a vibrant, authentic way that will prove life changing. I believe Jesus is our healer and that he can, wants to and will come close to the broken hearted. I provide tools to help each client become closer to Christ their healer.
