I am an individual and couples therapist, as well as a grief counselor and mediator. My passion is to help clients live their best lives and cultivate healthy relationships. Drawing from my diverse background, coupled with my legal training and mediation experience, I bring valuable insights into communication, negotiation, and problem-solving strategies, all of which contribute to my ability to guide individuals and couples towards positive outcomes in therapy.

I realize it takes a lot of courage to begin the psychotherapy process, but every step counts. In Individual Therapy sessions, we will spend our time working through the various ways your emotions may have felt confusing or misleading for you. No assumptions will be made about who you are or what you're going through, but rather we will use these sessions to journey together to reach the goals you would like to set for yourself.

To help calm these fears, I tend to compare psychotherapy to athletic coaching. Top athletes – LeBron James, J.J. Watt, Serena Williams – all have a coach. These athletes excel at their individual sport, have been playing for most of their lives; and still benefit from coaching. In life, or sport, we sometimes lack insight to what blocks our progress to our full potential. In psychotherapy, like a coach, I offer that support, feedback, and clarity.

This private practice is focused on helping clients create a balanced and joyful life. Everyone can discover the way that works best for him or her. It appears that we tend to focus way too much time and energy on "right vs. wrong." This seems to only cause more confusion, indecisiveness, and other insecurities. Seeking outside guidance in times of struggle can be powerful and transformative. One of the goals of this practice is to help clients discover a deeper sense of self and acceptance. I am well trained in the latest advances in psychotherapy. Having advanced training in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy allows me to help you explore you deepest issues. Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing compliments my array of modalities to offer my clients for their personal healing plan. Additional subconscious processing with EMDR can facilitate cognitive narrative connections that allow for new, adaptive perspectives to emerge.
