I am a strong believer in the power of talk therapy. While counseling can be an incredible step towards positive change, it also needs to be accompanied by action outside the counseling session. I believe we are often stuck beyond how we think about something, but by how our body holds and remembers the experiences. After all, we feel the anxiety in our chest, shoulders or stomach. When we are depressed, we struggle to move, sleep, concentrate etc. I work to remove the block from wherever it is stuck. My clients come to me after years of ineffective therapy. In my approach to psychotherapy, I integrate multiple therapeutic modalities to a Christian foundation to provide the best and tailored experience for my clients. Psychoeducation is a key component, as I believe in empowering individuals with knowledge about their mental and emotional health and equipping them with strategies. I also incorporate Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), to address emotional blockages and promote emotional healing. Furthermore, I draw upon the principles of existential therapy to explore clients' search for meaning and personal growth. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), techniques to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs.
