Depression comes in many forms. Clients who have organically driven forms should see their doctor regarding the latest/newer approaches to pharmacotherapy. Other forms of depression can stem from relationship troubles and in particular marital problems. Relationship counseling and learning new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving regarding marital conflict and intimacy deficits are a proven, effective way to overcome these types of depression. Adjustments may include; creating a healthier self care routine, creating a healthier work/life balance, engaging in as well as exploring new hobbies, engaging in healthy social interactions, etc.
