The mind, body, and spirit are connected- what impacts one impacts the others. Most people's challenges are more complex than a chemical imbalance or some simple behavioral changes. In psychotherapy, we can work to understand all of the facets of what you face so that as you take action to feel and live better, you will be the most effective in getting the outcomes you want. As we work together, our relationship will become the laboratory you will use to try out new skills and develop new insights and self-awareness. You will be able to answer the question "Is it just me, or..." and you will find more acceptance of yourself and greater contentment in your relationships.

Therapy is a collaboration. It's my job to have a lot of strategies/approaches to tackle the issue. It's your job to give me clear feedback as to what feels helpful and what does not. Sometimes you may need to talk through a painful situation that you haven't delved into. Sometimes you may to shift your focus away from a problem area that you've been overly focused on or mired in. Sometimes you need someone to sit with you as you talk about the things that frighten you, or we might role play how to have a conversation that isn't easy for you. I will coach you to the best of my ability; I bring many years of experience doing therapy and living life and love my work.

James Hillman once said, "We've had a hundred years of psychotherapy and the world is getting worse." While there are many occasions where the validation and listening endemic to psychotherapy makes sense, there are times where we over assume that "feeling better" and "changing behavior" are the same. Grey Matters International, Inc. goes after the forgotten brain laws to behavior change that therapists miss when processing hours and hours of dialogues with people. Utilizing a cutting edge technology to facilitate the emotional process of change, we can make the therapy process way more effective, faster, and with less money spent.
