I am a dedicated practitioner who is wholeheartedly invested in the emotional wellness of each person I work with. Before I design a treatment plan, I consider the individual's personality, cultural background, and history. On your first visit we will spend a generous amount of time discussing your present concerns as well as your goals for therapy. My role is to engage you in meaningful dialogue in a safe and supportive environment that helps alleviate your pain and suffering. We will gain understanding of the ways in which you relate to others and respond to circumstances. We will modify patterns that interfere with your ability to experience joy in relationships, work, school, or parenting. I enjoy the people I work with and learn from each one of them.

People I work with have told me that psychotherapy:
  • provides them with relief
  • deepens their insights
  • allows them to cultivate healthy experiences
  • allows them to generate new opportunities
  • enables them to enjoy fulfilling relationships

I strive to maintain the most ethically and sound practice possible by staying up to date with relevant training. In addition to my graduate education in clinical social work, I completed postgraduate training at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. I am currently a Doctoral candidate at Adelphi University with a research focus on CBT and narrative therapy. I look forward to our collaboration.
