I’m a Toronto-based social worker and psychotherapist supporting people through periods of stress, transition, loss, and uncertainty. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to the person in front of me. You bring a unique story and set of strengths, and my role is to help you make sense of what you are facing, while developing practical ways to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

What Clients Say They Appreciate About Working With Me
Clients often say they value the insight and perspective that emerge from our conversations, and many describe feeling deeply understood: that I “just get it” right from our initial consultation call. They appreciate the combination of warmth, wisdom, and a sense of humour I bring to our work, and often say they feel genuinely seen and respected.

Qualifications and Professional Training
I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and a First Class Honours BSc in Psychology from Dalhousie University. I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. My clinical training includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, somatic regulation strategies, trauma-informed approaches, and grief and bereavement counselling.

Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, transparent, and collaborative. Together we will clarify your goals and explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical skills and insights that support meaningful change. I’m open about the approaches and techniques we use in therapy so you can practice and apply them in your own life. While I aim to help you feel better in the moment, I also value building a therapeutic relationship you can return to when new challenges arise.

Areas of Practice
I work with people 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenthood, family conflict, addiction, and self-esteem concerns. I also provide grief and bereavement counselling and specialized support for individuals and families facing serious illness, caregiving stress, and end-of-life transitions.

A Final Word
People seek therapy when something in life feels overwhelming or difficult to navigate alone. My goal is to offer a safe, thoughtful space where you can explore what matters most to you, strengthen your capacity to cope with challenges, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
