·        Women

·        Neurodiverse adults (with ADHD, Autism, Learning Differences, etc.)

·        Parents

Do you feel:

·        Frustrated having tried everything to change a situation with no result

·        Overwhelmed by anger, fear, or sadness

·        Worn out because relationships feel like a battle

·        Defeated by a pattern of behaviour you feel you have no control over

·        Anxious about your future educational, career, and financial decisions

·        Overshadowed by events from the past

Matt can support you with:

·        Regulating emotions (anger, anxiety, depression)

·        Reframing self-worth to foster resilience and motivation

·        Building healthy relationships (ex. family, friends, partner, colleagues)

·        Replacing unhelpful coping mechanisms with helpful approaches

·        Reducing problem behaviours (ex. pornography, gaming, etc.)

·        Discerning career possibilities and next steps

·        Processing the effects of past experiences on the present challenges

We may use one or more therapeutic approaches:

·        Motivational Interviewing to determine your readiness for change in your life and empower you to make the desired changes in your life.

·        Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns that perpetuate problem situations.

·        Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to validate, understand, and better regulate your feelings in the past, present, and future.

·        Narrative Therapy to articulate the stories you tell yourself, which may be holding you back, and being empowered to write the next chapter of your life story.

·        Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to apply general problem-solving principles to draw out goals and associated actions to address current issues.

·        Exposure Therapy to learn from past trauma, process associated guilt, shame, and fears, and reframe what that means going forward.
