I received my Master of Counselling Psychology (MCP) from Adler University in Vancouver, BC and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am a trained individual, couples, and family psychotherapist with experience delivering evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and I use the Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my practice. I use trauma-informed practice in my work and I have training and experience with many different therapeutic modalities including Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dream Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I offer psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing difficult life transitions, emotional challenges, mental health issues, and relationship concerns. I have a strong background working with families affected by behavioural and substance addictions as I strive to help family members engage in their own healing and recovery. I have worked closely with youth and adults experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, traumatic experiences, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to create an atmosphere for growth and internal wisdom in a non-judgmental, open therapy environment. I work collaboratively and transparently with clients to determine their specific priorities and needs and I customize treatment to align with their goals.
I am also the founder of Hera Therapy, where we have a strong team of three clinicians working together to provide quality psychotherapy services, supervision, and consultation to expand clients' circle of care where necessary. At Hera Therapy, we are dedicated to helping people feel more connected to themselves and to others. Through evidence-based psychotherapy and a deep commitment to self-discovery, we support clients in creating new possibilities for insight, connection, and meaningful growth.
Our name, Hera, is inspired by the Greek goddess of marriage and family. Given our strong focus on relationships and couples therapy—and my own Greek heritage—we felt it was the perfect fit. Hera’s symbol, the pomegranate, traditionally represents fertility, but we also see it as a metaphor for the many emotions that lie beneath the surface, much like the seeds hidden within the fruit. Our therapeutic approach is eclectic and trauma-informed, meaning we tailor our methods to suit your unique goals, needs, and pace. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or deeper connection, we’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your therapy journey.
Please see our psychotherapist profiles on our Hera Therapy website for further details on the services we provide. Our team is currently accepting clients both virtually and in-person, and we would be honoured to support you.
