MY EXPERIENCEI enjoy using my formal education and life experience to improve relationships.  I am a Marriage and Family Therapist, certified in EMDR as well as a Physical Therapist.

MY APPROACHI believe I’m uniquely qualified to connect the mind and the body to promote healing.  The mind, emotions, body and spirit are integral to well being and whole health.  My approach is collaborative and experiential. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to EMDR, EFT, Prepare/Enrich, and mindfulness.

“It takes courage to be our REAL self but it’s worth it.”
WHAT OTHERS SAY“The greatest lessons are learned from those who have been through the fire and come out on the other side stronger and more committed to a better way of life.  I found Ellen’s professional skills and her passion for serving the mix I needed for healing and success.  She was empathetic and her common sense style was effective.”  Mark

Our first session, the intake, will be very helpful.  Many times clients need a FAST START, and that’s why I suggest our next session be two sessions back to back.  It’s like getting two weeks of counseling in one sitting.  This provides a great opportunity to get you moving quickly in a positive direction.
