Jennifer Garland, Registered Psychotherapist, owns and operates The Mane Intent, offering virtual and in-person psychotherapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy, wellness workshops and leadership development. Jennifer fundamentally believes that we all have the power within us to heal and lead a life fully with intent. Sometimes we need the support of others to witness our struggle, hear our story and help us navigate the ebb and flow of life. Jennifer works with clients in a trauma-informed way, using an evidence-based approach, to help foster greater personal resilience and well-being.
If choosing equine-assisted psychotherapy, our clients are supported by our healing herd of horses with big hearts and a desire to connect with authenticity in a safe and supportive environment. Horses teach us so much about our nervous system and how we present ourselves to the world around us. The farm also includes goats, cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens and a beautiful stone labyrinth for mindful walks and reflection.
Jennifer works with people (7 years and up) to help navigate:
