🌿 Kaimana Psychology Inc.
At Kaimana Psychology Inc., we believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood. Reaching out can feel vulnerable, and our goal is to make that first step feel grounded, supportive, and empowering. We provide a calm, collaborative space where clients can slow down, make sense of what’s happening in their lives, and begin creating meaningful, sustainable change.
We support individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, trauma, and feelings of being stuck. Sometimes concerns feel urgent and overwhelming; other times they are quieter but persistent, affecting confidence, connection, or overall well-being. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand patterns more clearly while also developing practical tools to move forward with greater stability and confidence.
Our approach is evidence-based and tailored to each person’s needs. We integrate established psychological methods while remaining flexible and responsive to what works best for you. For individuals, this may include strengthening coping skills, building emotional awareness, improving self-esteem, and managing anxiety or intrusive thoughts. For couples, we focus on communication, rebuilding trust, navigating conflict more effectively, and strengthening emotional connection.
Many clients appreciate that we balance insight with action. Understanding why patterns developed is important—but so is knowing what to do differently tomorrow. We help clients build boundaries, manage stress, improve communication skills, and develop healthier thought patterns that support long-term growth.
We are not focused on quick fixes. Our goal is to help you build internal skills and perspectives that continue to serve you long after therapy ends. Seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness; it is a proactive investment in your well-being, your relationships, and your future. We would be honoured to support you in that process.
👨 Kevin
Kevin’s path into therapy began in an unexpected place: law. After completing an undergraduate degree in psychology, he pursued a legal career and practiced in a full-service law firm. Over time, he realized that what he valued most was not the adversarial nature of legal work, but the meaningful conversations, collaboration, and problem-solving he shared with clients. These experiences ultimately led him back to psychology—this time as his full profession.
Working in divorce law deeply shaped Kevin’s perspective on relationships. He saw firsthand how communication breakdowns and unresolved patterns often develop long before couples seek help. This experience sparked his passion for supporting individuals and couples earlier in the process—helping them rebuild clarity, strengthen communication, and reconnect before patterns become entrenched.
Kevin has experience in both hospital settings and private practice, supporting clients through Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship concerns. He works with teens, adults, and older adults, adapting his approach to meet each client’s developmental stage and goals.
His therapeutic style is grounded, practical, and collaborative. Kevin integrates evidence-based approaches while recognizing that therapy is never one-size-fits-all. He helps clients understand the patterns driving their distress while also equipping them with concrete strategies they can apply in everyday life. Clients often appreciate his calm presence and his ability to balance insight with actionable steps.
Whether you are navigating intrusive thoughts, relationship conflict, emotional overwhelm, or a general sense of feeling stuck, Kevin works alongside you to create clarity, strengthen coping, and build lasting change.

👩 Elizaveta (Liza) Eldysheva
Elizaveta (Liza) is a compassionate and culturally attuned therapist serving individuals in Calgary who are navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, identity concerns, and emotional challenges. Originally from Russia, Liza developed an early interest in understanding people’s inner worlds and was consistently drawn to roles centered on empathy and connection.
Her academic path began in education, but after studying psychology, she discovered her true passion lay in exploring the deeper layers of human experience—how personal history, relationships, and culture shape the way we see ourselves and the world. Today, she brings that depth and curiosity into every session.
Liza’s therapeutic foundation includes psychodynamic and existential approaches, helping clients understand how past experiences influence present patterns. She also integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), allowing her to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.
She is fluent in Russian and welcomes clients who prefer therapy in their native language or who are seeking culturally sensitive support. Her experience includes working with Ukrainian refugees through CIWA, individuals navigating displacement and uncertainty, and women recovering from domestic violence.
Clients often describe Liza as warm, thoughtful, and deeply present. She balances structure with genuine human connection, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore complex emotions, process painful experiences, and rediscover resilience. Whether you are seeking healing, clarity, or personal growth, Liza walks alongside you with care and respect.
