Free 30 Minute Initial Consultation

Welcome!
The therapeutic relationship is one that involves a great deal of trust.  It can be difficult to discern whether a therapist will be one that you can connect with and feel safe.  To help you make this important decision, I offer a free half-hour consultation so you can meet me before you decide whether working with me will be a good fit for you. Email me at nancyeisenmanlcsw@gmail.com or call 317.605.7015 to schedule your appointment.  Let's talk about how I can help you reach your personal, relationship, family, and professional goals!

What You Can Expect:
When you arrive at my private office, you will be greeted by comfortable decor and furnishings in a soothing, quiet atmosphere.  You may help yourself to coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the spacious waiting room.  Before your first session, you will receive paperwork that will outline my professional policies as well as your rights as a client.

Your first 2-3 sessions will allow me to get to know you.  In the next session, I'll give you feedback on what I see and the things I think we need to work on together.  One of the things I hear over and over from potential clients is that they don't want a therapist who nods their head and asks them how they feel, while watching them struggle with the same old problems week after week.  That is not what you will experience in my office.  I give active feedback and guidance to help you find the peace you hope for and learn new ways of relating.

Online Counseling:
I offer online video-conferencing so you can have your sessions in the privacy of your own home or wherever you are in the state of Indiana!  I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant, encrypted web-hosting server to ensure complete privacy.  It is very simple to use and works on any computer or device with a camera and internet access.  Payment is easy via major credit card, PayPal, or a mailed check.

A little bit more about my approach:
I believe that everything that happens to us in life is meant for our learning and growth.  Our experiences are there to challenge us and encourage us to grow in the places we are weakest, in order to heal the wounds in our hearts and move forward to become the best version of ourselves.  This usually rather painful process takes a great deal of courage and humility to undergo, but this journey is worth the effort and has far-reaching effects.  Healing the wounds in our hearts allows us to live peace-filled lives, even when there is nothing but turmoil around us.  While many things in our environment are out of our control, we can learn to be in the midst of this and still be at peace.  Having a therapist who is objective, compassionate, and non-judgmental to help us through the places where we struggle is an invaluable gift.
