No one should have to walk alone on their journey towards healing. The power of a safe and validating relationship can provide support and guidance in service of restoring our hearts and minds. Healing is sacred work and should be treated as such.
Sam Haid believes that the challenges we face in life are calls for growth. Utilizing a person-centered perspective, Sam believes that every human-being possesses the power to unlearn, live authentically, and step into their best self.
Life is most certainly unpredictable; life can feel like a never-ending stream of difficulties, heartbreak, and setbacks. Whether you are experiencing relationship and/or family concerns, death/loss, depression, anxiety or more, Sam believes that you have the intrinsic capabilities to reclaim your power and conquer any barrier you are faced with.
Utilizing a collaborative approach, Sam will support you in your own healing in a fashion that complements and honors your values, life path, and strengths. Sam believes that each individual is the master of their own life; Sam will trust and acknowledge the expertise you have over your life story while also supporting the deconstruction of outdated and harmful narratives.
Sam also believes in the power of art; the creative process and artmaking can be an emotive and informative tool for expression and expansion. While verbal language provides one excellent avenue for communication, the language of creativity provides rich and sprawling worlds to explore. As a licensed art therapist, Sam can assist and support you and your loved ones in a creative process of exploration and healing.
