For me, well-being comes from the knowledge that no matter what life throws at you, you have the tools you need to courageously and compassionately face it. It comes from knowing that you have the strength and ability to cope with any uncertainty. And, we can face and get through anything when we know how to support ourselves. Many of us were not taught the skills or given the tools we need to get through life’s challenges. Nor were we taught how to treat ourselves in a loving, supportive way. We can change this.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, empowering, trauma-informed, and non-judgemental. My goal is to provide a safe place for you to explore your personal values, shift how you relate to yourself, and build on your life and coping skills. I integrate multiple approaches to best fit your needs.
I work with teens and adults who are experiencing a wide range of issues including grief and loss, trauma, intimate partner violence, chronic health and pain, self-esteem, life stress, anxiety, and depression. I also support families to build their communication and relationship skills.
I offer in-person sessions in the Calgary SW area and online and phone sessions across Alberta. Please schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit.
