At Currents Counselling we are passionate about supporting relationships! We are relational beings and the relationships in our lives matter and profoundly impact our mental wellness. We also believe in collaborative services to support the whole family. This means we want to be able to support individuals families with a range of services and supports to offer insight, new meaning, connection, healing, or find an alternative path forward. We understand that dynamics individuals and families navigate are complicated and having unbiased professional support can make all the difference in healing, understanding, and growing. Our goal is to assess and understand the unique dynamics individuals and families experience and offer guidance and support.
We also offer Section 211 Reports, (full Section 211, Hear the Child, and Views of the Child Reports).
Our team is diverse and offers registered counsellors (RCC’s and CCC’s) holistic supports and energy work, clinical masters interns, and life skills/coaching supports. We work with issues of violence and trauma and offer EMDR. Utilizing a number of therapeutic approaches and interventions, we believe that there is no one-size fits all when it comes to supporting individuals and relationships. Our hope is to provide a judgement-free environment to assess the unique dynamics going on within relationships and offer insight and interventions to support change.
