Talia is specialized in clinical counselling with youth, young adults, adults and families and has been passionate about working with this population for more than ten years. After completing her Masters in Clinical Social Work she pursued extensive training in areas such as: trauma, EMDR, grief and loss, risk assessment and family conflict. Further driving her therapeutic work includes Talia’s interest in family systems theory, the latest research in brain development and the neurobiology of early attachment-related issues.
Talia is passionate about supporting others to overcome the challenges that life often presents. She believes that her clients are the authorities of their own lives and strives to ensure that the people she works with truly feel seen and understood before supporting them to address the roots of the issues they face. Talia’s warm and compassionate approach allows her to build strong therapeutic relationships with others. She believes in the self-righting ability each person possesses to re-wire their brain towards health. This belief inspires her work helping others to overcome a variety of issues such as: anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, trauma, grief and loss, infertility, self- esteem, and difficult life transitions.
