Are you struggling with a loss? This might be the loss of a loved one or a beloved pet. It may be a divorce which has left you grieving. There are a variety of losses we experience in life. Death and divorce are among the most difficult and painful. Many are aware of the stages of grief but what you may not realize is that there is no particular order in going through them. If you have experienced a loss and you're "all over the place" with your emotions, this is more normal than you realize. Many of my clients experience relief from having a safe place to talk and process their loss. In time the pain will lesson but the timeframe will be different for everyone.

Grief is a normal process after any loss. I help clients understand the process of grieving and identify any unhealthy lingering beliefs and feelings that are keeping them stuck in pain. As they learn to release those, maintaining the memories they want to keep, they can then move on with their lives. I assist them in releasing guilt, anger, hurt, loneliness, fear and old relationship patterns that cause any of the negative feelings, replacing them with new, empowering beliefs.

When a loved one exits your life, chaos enters. People tell you they know how you feel, but you know the truth: the grief response is unique to each individual. No one can crawl into your head and truly get your experience of loss. And reconciling your life with a loved one's death is overwhelming. Yet it can be done. It won't be easy, but change is possible. I learned this truth from my own experience of grief that began with the unexpected death of my husband. If my thoughts resonate with you, contact me. We can discuss your concerns and determine if I'm a good fit. You don't have to walk this road of loss alone.
