I help clients to begin to develop personal compassion and to recognize the strength and positive qualities that are already inside of them.

I worked in adolescent and adult PHP/IOP/OP rehabilitation centers for individuals diagnosed with a substance use disorder, and/or a co-occurring diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, eating disorder, trauma or other mental health issues. I used various proven therapy techniques to help my clients learn new coping behaviors, learn how to stop impulsive behaviors, and recognize how their thinking influenced their behavior. I provided family counseling to help mend the broken relationships. I work with clients who are following the 12 Steps, The Matrix Model or another type of approach to recovery.
