Anger is a normal emotion & is allowed! We offer an insightful exploration of emotional management & regulation, skill building, & mindfulness to improve the expression of anger. Underwood Counseling & Consultation, PLLC uses CBT, DBT skills training, ACT, EMDR, & Accelerated Resolution Therapy to improve anger management.

At Garrett Counseling, we have a special interest in anger management and domestic violence. We even offer a special group called "Angry Birds." Our team of counselors are experienced in aiding a wide range of ages with processing anger in a healthy and productive way. By equipping our clients with coping skills, we are able to help them to carry out healthy relationships.

Anger is not the problem! Anger is not bad or good, or negative or positive. Like love, sad or happy, anger, is only an emotion - a feeling. Nothing more, nothing less. The thing that gives anger it's bad reputation is what a person sometimes DOES when he/she gets angry. When a person makes poor choices of behavior when angry, they either break the law or destroy relationship - or BOTH. I'll be happy to teach you how you can make better choices of behavior when you feel angry. You may choose a package of eight Group Sessions or you may schedule as few or as many Individual Sessions as you need.
