Anger is often one of the greatest tactics the enemy of our soul uses to rob us of our peace and joy. Being quick to take offense is often a sly trick of the enemy, and if we take the bait, we will indeed behave in ways we'll later regret. I use a Christian foundation and a Biblical perspective to help my patients learn how to have peace in a storm and how to take appropriate "time-outs" to help them to respond to a situation versus reacting to it.

Anger problems usually occur when you have struggled with communication and expressing yourself for a very long time. It’s easy to blame situation or even others but learning how to express yourself in healthy ways and Incorporating activities to get your frustrations out can also help. Let’s get to work! I use EMDR to process the memories where you learned the original behavior. And CBT to make permanent changes.

Anger management counseling can help to identify stressors and learn the steps to stay calm in the face of anger. The goal is to handle tense situations in more constructive and positive ways by reducing the emotional and physical arousal that anger can cause. It will provide the tools to take back your life and resolve the triggers that result in unplanned anger reactions.
