Parenting is a challenging and rewarding role. Unfortunately no one teaches us how to parent. Most people tend to do what their parents did or in some cases the exact opposite. When that doesn't work they can be at a loss. If you are struggling with parenting I can help. My approach in Family Therapy focuses on helping the parent(s) learn new parenting techniques by understanding their child's developmental stage and needs, setting and following through with limit setting and strengthening the connection with the child.

Family systems can be complex. Each person brings with them a different set of ideas, personalities, and obstacles. My goal in working with families is to help you identify barriers that are preventing your family from thriving. We will work together to understand each member of the family and how to better communicate with each other.
