As I work with teen clients, I also will work with parents of my client, your/their child. While your teen is my client, it is important to work with the parents and at times the whole family as a "system" in the process. I will explain how I work with your teen, and keep a parent or both parents "in the loop" and "involved in the process" of the therapeutic journey. It is also important for parents to be aware of when a teen client is in harm's way.

I strive to help families by giving each member a voice, by empowering parents to take a healthy lead in their homes, and by helping the children approach their parents in appropriate ways so they have influence into the family dynamic.
