The Bible is God's instruction to Christians on so many topics. A most valuable set of topics is of course, family development and marital satisfaction. As a Christian Minister I approach counseling with an integration of biblical and clinical principles. One informs the other. The Bible is silent on many topics and theologically, one must not attempt to make doctrine out of silence. If you have spiritual questions-- as they relate to your faith and counseling goals, I also happen to be trained to help guide you through your hard questions about the Christian faith and together we can find the answers that Christ wants to pour into your life.

When people of faith claim a connection to their God, they benefit from using a counselor that can frame their struggles in words that are reflected in their faith. With an understanding that our lives fall under a Creator they are connected to, it is important that the counseling process acknowledge, support and guide in light of this connection. I have been ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). I trained at both Perkins School of Theology (at SMU) and Amberton University. My counseling practice is a "Validated Ministry" within Grace Presbytery.
