When asked to incorporate a biblical perspective into therapy, I am more than happy to do this. I became a born-again Christian early in my youth. Since I have walked with the Lord for a long time, I have also fallen a time or two, which makes therapy all that richer. There's no judgement, just honest truths that can feel relatable. Therapy is sprinkled throughout the bible; it's the framework for CBT. I can honestly say with my whole heart, despite all that the Lord and I have been through, he really is my best friend.

The first thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian and that I believe that the Bible is the word of God. Hebrews Chapter 4 and verse 12 says that "...the word of God is living and active..." I believe that this verse is true and help Bible believing Christians understand not only what the Bible says but what it will mean for them to line up their life in accord with it. I do not use the Bible as a weapon but as a gentle guide as I remind people not only about the promises, and power of God but the requirements He has for us. I pray with people and lavish encouragement. Furthermore I give concrete and practical homework so that progress can be made most rapidly.
