As a Christian Minister I approach counseling with an integration of biblical and clinical principles. One informs the other. The Bible is silent on many topics and theologically, one must not attempt to make doctrine out of silence. The ultimate goal of Christian counselors is to help their clients reestablish and reaffirm their relationship with God, themselves and their social circle. Christian counselors strive to help the client overcome spiritual, mental, social and behavioral problems within the framework of these three dimensions while keeping God at the center of the relationships.

I have been ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). I trained at both Perkins School of Theology (at SMU) and Amberton University. My counseling practice is a "Validated Ministry" within Grace Presbytery.

When asked to incorporate a biblical perspective into therapy, I am more than happy to do this. I became a born-again Christian early in my youth. Since I have walked with the Lord for a long time, I have also fallen a time or two, which makes therapy all that richer. There's no judgement, just honest truths that can feel relatable. Therapy is sprinkled throughout the bible; it's the framework for CBT. I can honestly say with my whole heart, despite all that the Lord and I have been through, he really is my best friend.
