The basic message of the Bible is that God loves us, and does so not because we have earned this love, but simply because God chooses to love us because of who God is. We live our lives trying to find out what this means in everyday life, sometimes living as though we have to do something to deserve this love, and other times living as though it is impossible to be loved. I believe Christian counseling is at its heart simply finding out how to integrate God's love for us into our lives.

My approach to Christian counseling integrates evidence-based counseling techniques with faith-based principles for clients who want their beliefs included in the therapeutic process. I work to create a supportive, respectful environment where clients can explore personal, relationship, or family challenges while drawing on their values, faith, and spiritual strengths. I use practical tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients identify unhealthy thoughts and behaviors and develop healthier patterns that support growth and healing. I work with all Christians including Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Protestant, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, non-denom, etc

Healing and redemption are the heart of the Gospel. Broken people turn to God to find love and hope. I counsel from a Christian perspective that teaches how a Biblical response to suffering in the world will always apply grace and forgiveness to every relationship we encounter. This approach is transformative for individuals, couples, and families as the Gospel message is experienced in every aspect of their lives.

I specialize in working with couples whether married or in a dating relationship, my training and experience (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) is centered around working within the context of marriage and relationships. I am a Christian who is a counselor, while not trained in Biblical Counseling; I support the Christian Faith and your beliefs.
