My masters program was called Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy. I had 3 years previous to that in a counselling undergrad that focused heavily on building a spiritually integrated foundation for theoretical approaches with clients. During those formative years developing as a professional and discovering who I wanted to be as a counsellor, I realised that I was made to serve and model with high integrity, a compassion for my clients that would stand out in their lives; that I had the privilege to be a small seed along their journey to well being. I look forward to walking with you, building a wonderful relationship through the hard times and the celebration of successes. You are worth it!

I embrace uniqueness and everyone's experiences ARE unique, they're ours. I approach each client with uniqueness and authenticity. I like to apply psychodynamic counselling and empowerment strategies to aid in better understanding our experiences and feelings while striving to build our voices and assert ourselves in the present and the future.

James Hillman once said, "We've had a hundred years of psychotherapy and the world is getting worse." While there are many occasions where the validation and listening endemic to psychotherapy makes sense, there are times where we over assume that "feeling better" and "changing behavior" are the same. Grey Matters International, Inc. goes after the forgotten brain laws to behavior change that therapists miss when processing hours and hours of dialogues with people. Utilizing a cutting edge technology to facilitate the emotional process of change, we can make the therapy process way more effective, faster, and with less money spent. Psychotherapy is similar to counseling, and the two can overlap. However, the former tends to look more deeply, addressing the underlying causes of a person’s problems as well as how to solve them. Psychotherapy can help when depression, low self-esteem, addiction, bereavement, or other factors leave a person feeling overwhelmed. It can also help treat bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and certain other mental health conditions.

Psychotherapy is a talk therapy with proven research and evidence-based interventions. It is a confidential and safe space where clients can explore different aspects of their emotional pain with an empathic counselor. As a Master Level psychotherapist, I have educational training and clinical experience in Family Systems and Psychoeducation. Combining these two methods gives me a comprehensive and in-depth awareness of assisting individuals, couples, and families through their growth journey. Through the initial assessment, I will help you establish goals for therapy that are practical and achievable. Psychotherapy is a safe space to explore your any challenges you are facing.

I have received instruction in a variety of different types of therapy, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Psychoanalysis, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I draw from all of these when I work with my clients, finding what will work best for the individual to address the concerns that brought them to therapy.
