Do you lie in bed looking at the ceiling thinking, "I just can't do this another day"? Are you seeking for ways out? Thinking of alternate life situations? Is looking at porn become a replacement for sex with your spouse? What about romance novels, are you stuck in a world of non-reality, wishing that prince charming would make his acquaintance, and do it fast! Do you hate the way you have to wean through his dirty socks to get to the bed...or deal with her city of bottles on your bathroom vanity counter? Have you breached your marriage vows with someone else, or sought the unhealthy friendship of someone from the opposite sex online or at the office? It is time to take the love back.
Paul Bains, B.Sc., M.A., RCC
Intimate relationships are not easy. To have a fulfilling relationship, it takes the work of two people to build and sustain a loving, caring & harmonious relationship. I can help you to understand that there will always be arguments, but the arguments don't need to destroy your marriage. Together we can work on ways to resolve the reasons why you fight and to learn to talk to each other in ways that can help you understand each other. You and your partner have your unique views, beliefs and values. These will need to be discussed so you can both go forward creating the relationship you want. My approach is to work with you in a sensible & practical way to help you get a meaningful outcome.

The couple relationship holds the potential for deep growth and lasting fulfillment, yet can be the source of so much confusion and anger, self-doubt and blaming. As a trained Marriage and family therapist, working with couples for over eight years, I am able to effectively support couples through hurts, resentments, and challenges to becoming more connected, loving, and passionate.
Lorill Drummund, M.Ed., RCC, Certified in EMDR
Do you feel alone in your relationship? Are you tired of nagging? Do you freeze, shut down, or walk on eggshells? I help each partner feel secure in the relationship, and able to express their deepest longings, and hear each other. Together, I help couples shift away from negative interactions, and become fully engaged in a positive connection. I clarify what is going on beneath the surface in your relationship, and assist you in recognizing the problem interactions, and deeper emotional needs, so that we can team up to deal with it together. I mentor you to understand each other's experience, so you can take over managing your relationship yourselves in a caring, fulfilling way.

In an environment of safety and respect, it is my hope that each person will develop a greater self-awareness and a sincere willingness to change. Couples will learn to listen to and understand the feelings and needs of their partner, as well as to communicate their own more effectively. Couples will identify the repetitive negative patterns in their relationship that create distress and alienate one from the other. Each person also will explore negative thought and behaviour patterns within themselves, and relevant past issues that may be contributing to their difficulties. It is my hope that couples will discover that they do have the capability to build a healthy relationship.
Jill Arnold, MA,MA,RCC,CHT
Even with someone you adore, relationships require communication, compromise, kindness and flexibility. Bringing two people together who have grown up in different families, with different patterns of feeling, thinking and acting, creates challenges. Learning how to ask for what you want, resolve what feels stuck and be kind and respectful to each other is not something we are born with. As an objective person I can provide a new perspective to what feels like the same problem that keeps repeating. I will help you identify the patterns preventing your from enjoying each other to the fullest and learn new ways to enjoy safety, love and satisfaction together.
Shawn McNabb, B.A., M.Ed. (Counselling Psychology), R.C.C.
We begin as individuals, then become a couple and we forget that we are also still individuals. I use an approach developed by researcher Dr. John Gottman. My work begins with re-establishing the friendship. It is important to learn as much as you can about your partner such as their interests, dislikes, goals, friends etc. A couples' pattern of communication is also important to understand such as issues they continue to get 'stuck' on, and how they choose to argue with each other. This leads to positive comebacks and solutions on how they want to 'be' with each other in their future years together.
