I utilize several modalities to treat depression from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulfulness Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy and Psychodynamic techniques. We believe in a holistic approach to treating Depression as it requires a flexible approach.

My approach to working with persons who have depression is rooted in empathy, active-listening and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). By collaboratively exploring negative thought patterns , we work to identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs while also developing healthier coping strategies. My goal is to empower my patients to regain a sense of control, improve their their emotional well-being and enhance their overall quality of life.
