In my work with couples, I take non high conflict couples who want to better communicate and heal attachment wounds. In my work with kids I like to involve their system (parent/parents/family) to promote support and bonding.

In addition to individual counseling, I provide treatment to couples and families. Areas of treatment include developing effective communication, addressing conflict in a compassionate environment and learning how to support loved ones who are in recovery.

Our automatic responses to our partners may be helping or hurting us (or both!) but our responses are there for a reason. Couples therapy works to understand these automatic responses and take better control of the process, freeing us from a stance of defensiveness.

Couples usually get stuck not because of what they know, but what they cannot see. Unhealthy patterns of relating become established and difficult to change. I help couples identify these patterns and create new ones that make room for your relationship to grow.

I strive to provide a safe place a person can go and be themselves, with no judgments. I continue in my belief that resiliency resides in everyone. I truly believe that change is possible and that everyone has room for improvement in their lives (including me).
