I incorporate Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross's stages of Grief Therapy.Dr. Ross believes that we must go through denial, anger and acceptance I also believe in the near death experiences of many patients who share experiences in their after life or what happens when you die. Believing this life is only the beginning ,I incorporate a religious perspective with the patients faith and writings into therapy. I am of the belief that all faiths are from one and the same God.

Grief and Loss is one of the most difficult things you are probably experiencing. Our approach is to help you process what is going on and how you can move forward. This process is individualized and we will work together each step of the way. There is no limit on grief so if you have heard "Get over it" or "Why is it taking you so long to get past this", you know you are talking to the wrong people about your feeling. You need someone who understand and can help you process these feelings, not someone who is going to make you feel shameful about your feelings. It is important to understand you do not need to do this alone.

Grief is an individualized internal experience.There is no right way or right amount of time to grieve. Dialoguing about life and death, disappointments and future opportunities allows each person the space to grieve and also recreate their lives from this moment on. In my 30+ years of clinical practice, I assist my clients as they experience the emotional pain and the full recognition of their loss. I support them as they build the emotional resilience to overcome their grief, turning their energy into future opportunities.
