Current Initiatives

The Greater Brandon Ecumenical Ministries (GBEM) is an outreach program developed in partnership by a number of community organizations. Through partnering with faith-based and secular social service providers alike, GBEM is dedicated to reducing the problems associated with homelessness in Brandon.⁴ Their program, I Am Hope Café, provides food, clothing, temporary housing, and medical services to those in Brandon without homes.⁵ The Café program is open for visitors on Saturdays at the Brandon Church of the Nazarene in Brandon.
