Multiple techniques are taught to give couples many practical, user-friendly "tools" for their "relationship toolbox," available for use when needed. Other approaches used include, but are not limited to, examining differences in typical male/female communication patterns, increasing respectful communication and behavior, and teaching techniques each partner can use to get in tune to the other partner's needs, wishes, wants, and desires.
