I've been working with couples for about 40 years, am married 47 years. We worked professionally together and raised our family. I really enjoy working with couples of all ages, helping them learn to cope with marital expectations while finding their joy together

Dr. Marcelo uses a shor-term, solution focused approach to marital therapy. Couples examine the interactions, communication, and roles that are working and those that are not. As opposed to continuing the "blame game", individuals take responsibility for change.

I use the concept of PIES which is making sure that married couples have intimacy in the; Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual areas of the marriage. I also help couples accept their spouses and learn to appreciate who they were and are today. Dating is key.
