The organization works to integrate prevention and intervention programs into the curriculum at local schools and into the human resources practices of local organizations and businesses. Raising awareness of warning signs and providing the tools and knowledge people need to appropriately respond to a crisis is a key component of the agency's mission. The center also provides specialized resources for groups with specific mental health needs, such as the LGBTQ community, military members, ethnic minorities, and individuals who live in rural areas.
