Hi, I'm Dr. Dave Russell. I am a psychologist who specializes in intensive psychotherapy and coaching focused on getting to the root and core of your problems. I use a Person Centered Approach in therapy along with CBT and Mindfulness. We will begin our time together working on building a good rapport, trust and comfort. I know how difficult it can be to open yourself up to someone and allow yourself to be completely vulnerable. I assure you I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to feel more comfortable in to share yourself in, which will allow you to begin your healing journey. This is your time to vent, brainstorm, laugh, cry, explore your thoughts and feelings, and more. I work with an entire person--the mind, emotions, body, spirit, relationships. I offer an alternative approach to traditional psychotherapy because sometimes we are stuck beyond our thoughts. I believe we are often stuck beyond how we think about something, but by how our body holds and remembers the experiences. After all, we feel the anxiety in our chest, shoulders or stomach.
