I will utilize a variety of evidence based practices and interventions that are best suited to your presenting issues. The interventions that I most commonly rely on are Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), a Multisystemic Approach, Behavior Modification, Insight Oriented and Supportive.

I use an integrated approach to psychotherapy, incorporating cognitive-behavior, dialectical-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapies. My goal is to help you to understand historical messages that have contributed to present-day struggles. I work with you to challenge negative thinking and develop strategies that will help you between our sessions.

My approach to psychotherapy is psychodynamic or insight oriented.
