My approach to grief counseling is to listen with an open heart and an open ear while holding a space where you can feel safe to share your unique grief story. In sharing your story you begin to process your grief, and ultimately you learn to integrate the loss into your life in a way that feels appropriate and right for you. My approach to this process is always with deep compassion and without judgment.

I help clients understand what grief and loss are, and what a healthy grieving process looks like. I utilize a grieving framework called "The Tasks of Mourning". I offer clients a safe supportive space to process their grief. Having been a Certified Grief Counselor, I share with clients new understandings of the grieving process that helps them be able to successfully work through their grief.
