I offer an approach to counseling that is solution focused. I work with people's strengths and help them get to the point where they can make choices to resolve their issues. I then provide guide them through the choices they make. I am a family systems therapist and look at their family of origin, their current relationships, and their spiritual beliefs in an integrated therapy approach. I am holistic based, so I look at their health and lifestyle influences that may be contributing to their problems.

My psychotherapeutic approach is based on the time-tested intervention that is called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT helps people understand how their thoughts can control their actions and vice versa. Once one of those is altered, the other can subsequently follow, resulting in a happier and healthier life for you and those around you.
