It is very common for individuals to seek psychotherapy in times of grief. Grief is a process. Dr. Spada will stay with you throughout your process. Each individuals process is very different. Dr. Spada takes an individualized approach to grief work and will make sure she stays with you every step of they way. She will offer compassion, understanding and validation. Grief and bereavement are the natural emotional responses to any kind of loss. It involves experiencing intense feelings, many of them unexpectedly and overwhelmingly. Loss is a personal journey; while grieving can often foster compassion and connection among family and friends, it is also common for the griever to experience difficulties identifying and sharing feelings or experience inter-personal conflict.
